Profile Summary
Born on November 4, 1985, Khalid Latif is a right handed batsman. Entering into the national arena at a very young age, Latif made his first class debut just days before his 15th birthday, and struggled to make any sort of impact.
The highest point of his career so far has been his success with the Pakistan Under-19 team. He skippered the team to glory in the 2004 edition of the tournament. Despite an impressive List 'A' record, Latif has been an under-achiever of sorts at the international stage.
He made his debut against Zimbabwe in January, 2008 but then had to wait for more than a year for his second chance. He was consistent during the ODI series at the UAE against New Zealand in November, 2009 and also made his only half-century, a patient knock of 64 at Abu Dhabi.
