Profile Summary
In a land where wicket-keeper-batsmen come in dozens, Minod Bhanuka offers himself as another option from that rich supply chain.
He started off in the under-19s as a part of Sri Lanka's squad for the 2014 World Cup, coming into the national T20I squad for the series against Pakistan in the UAE in 2017, although without getting a game. He had to wait a couple of years before getting to make his debut, which happened on the tour to Pakistan in 2019, a series where most of their big ticket players backed out owing to security concerns.
