Profile Summary
Originally from Mumbai in India, Saurabh Netravalkar is a quirky left-arm pacer who can also bat a bit. He was a part of the India U19 setup and had also played domestic cricket for Mumbai. However, with the extremity of competition in the country, Netravalkar’s opportunities were always going to be considerably barren. Blessed with a tall frame, he had the ability to get disconcerting bounce off the
surface and could also move the ball. A studious person by nature, he was employed by Oracle at one point. Like many talented Indian cricketers, Netravalkar too looked elsewhere for opportunities and the major break came when he was named in the United States squad for the Super50 Tournament in the West Indies. Continued consistency eventually earned up the leadership role with USA and he led the country to ODI status in April 2019.
