Profile Summary
Playing for Cape Cobras, Mgijima is an useful cricketer who bats right-handed and bowls right-arm fast medium. While his bowling remains useful, Mgijima was a consistent batsman for Cape Cobras, during the 2016-17 domestic season - making as many as five half-centuries. Having started on a slow note, Mgijima is making up for lost time and was rewarded with a place in the Newlands based Twenty20 franchise, Cape Town Knight Riders, for the first edition of Global Twenty20 League.
However, since the Global T20 League was scrapped before it could start, Mgijima had to settle with playing for Cape Cobras in the domestic T20 competition. He was picked up by Cape Town Blitz for the Mzansi Super League.
