Profile Summary
Bangladesh are known to produce left-arm spinners, but not many off-spinners or leg-spinners. So, the arrival of Jubair Hossain gives them plenty of options. The leg-spinner came through the U-19 ranks and hadn't played much first class cricket before he was selected for the Test side. Jubair justified the selectors decision by picking a 5-wicket haul in only his third Test, against Zimbabwe.
From then on, Jubair has been a permanent fixture in the Bangladeshi Test side and also played Tests against India and South Africa. He had a decent outing versus India - troubled Kohli and later went on to pick his wicket.
